I truly enjoyed my visit and was pleasantly surprised by how well the museum goes beyond celebrating just one great man, offering rich insight into the history and global impact of cricket as a whole. The exhibits thoughtfully cover Sir Donald Bradman’s journey—from his early life in Bowral to becoming Sir Donald Bradman, the most iconic figure in Australian cricket—while also placing his legacy within the wider context of the game. It’s inspiring to see how the sport shaped Australia’s identity over time. While a few exhibits could be a little more brightly lit, this is only a minor detail and doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The museum shop is another highlight, very well stocked with memorabilia, gifts, and cricket-related items. There’s also a charming bookcase filled with second-hand cricket books at bargain prices, which is a delight for true fans and collectors. Adding to the experience is the adjacent Bradman Oval, complete with its picturesque pavilion and the lovely Mary Poppins statue set within the grounds—both are well worth a stroll and make the visit even more memorable. Overall, this is a must-visit place in NSW, especially as Bowral is the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman. Whether you’re a passionate cricket fan, a casual visitor, or bringing children who want to learn more about cricket legends, this museum offers a meaningful, educational, and enjoyable experience. A very rewarding way to spend a couple of hours, and highly recommended.”

Really enjoyed my visit, and was pleasantly surprised that the museum covers not only the great man but the game in a wider context. As one or two other reviewers have mentioned, the exhibits are not always lit as brightly as they might be, but this is a minor quibble. Additionally the museum shop is well stocked, and there is a bargain filled bookcase of second hand cricket books for sale. The adjacent Oval and its picturesque pavilion ( and Mary Poppins statue in the grounds) are other points of interest. A very enjoyable couple of hours.”
