Fagan Park

“Fagan Park is one of the most beautiful and well-kept parks I’ve visited. It’s perfect for a day out with family or friends, with plenty of open space, picnic areas, and walking trails. The themed gardens are absolutely stunning—each section offers something unique, and the attention to detail is impressive. The eco garden is both educational and inspiring, especially for kids. There’s also a fantastic playground that keeps children entertained for hours, and the historic Netherby Homestead adds a lovely cultural touch. The whole park is clean, peaceful, and well-organized, with lots of shaded areas and seating. It’s a great place to relax, explore, or just enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene escape or a fun family outing—Fagan Park truly has something for everyone”

“There’s plenty of parking, with two car parks, and two playgrounds for kids. We came for a walk and enjoyed the many flowers in bloom. There’s also a very large fenced off-leash dog play area, complete with bin bags and tennis balls provided, which was great to see. Plenty of shaded spots make it ideal for a picnic. There are also ample toilet facilities. Additionally, there are some short bush walks just off the main path—they’re brief but enjoyable.”

“Beautiful park, with several shelters for picnic, bbq, and enough parking spots. We visited there over the weekend it was quite crowded but as the park is big, it was ok. There is a nice playground for kids available. Also many ducks in the pond. It is a dog friendly park, also has a small fenced area for dogs at the back.”
