📍 West Lakes, SA
Best for families and groups after an indoor round of mini golf in Adelaide's west, with a licensed bar, coffee and share-style food in the mix.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The real appeal is that this feels more like an entertainment venue than an old-school putt-putt course. We think it is worth a trip across Adelaide's western suburbs for families with school-age kids, especially when bad weather rules out an outdoor day, while families farther away can comfortably treat it as a detour rather than a destination in its own right. Younger children can join in too, but Hey Caddy recommends that under-10s are supervised. Book ahead for a weekend or other busy period rather than gambling on a walk-in.

Overview
This is mini golf with a night-out feel, but it works just as well when the players are still small enough to argue passionately over whose ball is whose. Hey Caddy West Lakes has an 18-hole indoor course filled with colourful, themed holes and playful obstacles, so the fun comes as much from seeing what is around the next corner as sinking the putt. No golf experience is needed, and putters, balls and scorecards are supplied.
The course sits upstairs from the Mosaic Hotel in the Footy Park Precinct, with its own licensed bar and kitchen serving pizzas, casual food and drinks. That makes it particularly easy to turn a round into a longer family outing rather than treating mini golf as the whole event.
