Market Square Park

📍 Subiaco, WA

★4.6(8 Google reviews)

A small, pleasant Subiaco park that's lovely for a laid-back play session, dog walks and free community events like Subi Bloom. Just plan your parking, because it's the one real headache.

It's such a nice little park to chill at. Lots of people walk by walking their dogs or bike. Some people also bring their kids to play on the playground or eat at the benches. I liked to sit here and read outside when I wanted to get some air and touch some grass.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

With only a handful of reviews this is limited data, but the picture is of a low-key neighbourhood park that's lovely for a laid-back visit - let the kids loose on the playground, grab a bench, sit on the grass. Just don't count on driving straight in and parking easily, so plan to walk, take the train, or arrive with time to spare.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Allow plenty of extra time or plan around the tricky parking - reviewers struggled to find anywhere to stop
⏰Consider taking the train, since a bay near the station is one of the few options
đŸŽŸī¸Check for free events like Subi Bloom or concerts before you go
🚗Bring a picnic - there are benches to eat at

Overview

A little neighbourhood park where you can let the kids loose on the playground, then claim a bench or a patch of grass while the dog walkers and cyclists drift past. It hosts free community events like Subi Bloom, so keep an eye on the calendar. The catch is parking - one parent burned their whole 10-minute bay waiting on a coffee - so walk, take the train, or arrive with time up your sleeve.
