“Amazing place for our family and especially our 2yr old who loves trains. The look on his face was priceless. All the staff, drivers, volunteers and engineers were extremely friendly and made all ages feel welcome along with being hard working at running a tight ship and a clean 'n tidy setting. Highly recommended for parties, family days out and train buffs of all ages. Will definitely return for another day out.”

“With plenty of space for picnics, the Railway Yard is a great day out for families or to celebrate a birthday. While there is plenty of space, it is highly recommended to bring some shade to keep out of the sun on warmer days. The train rides are a fixed price for unlimited rides and with multiple trains running at any one time, there is never a long wait to jump on for a ride. @cwade_creative”

“Staff are very nice and friendly and the volunteers do well. Lines can get long sometimes but that's for the steam train. Worth it for the kids also there's a larger park next door with two playgrounds.”
