“One of the best zoos I have visited. The animals all seemed very happy and their enclosures were large, clean and filled with enrichment activities. The zoo is easy to walk around and the food from the café was delicious. The Tassie devil encounter was marvellous and I particularly liked the dinosaur walk - so much fun for any dino enthusiast! I'll definitely be back when I'm in Tasmania again.”

“This zoo was the best that I’ve ever visited. It was so calm and peaceful. It was clear that the animals were well cared for since they had plenty of fresh food and enrichment. I completed the Tasmanian Devil encounter and it was a wonderful experience. The lady who ran it was lovely and took a fantastic photo. There was such a wide range of animals, and they were all very active and friendly.”

“Absolutely loved Tasmania Zoo and would definitely recommend a visit here. The on hands experience which is available was amazing. We had photos with a wombat and Tasmanian Devil and the awesome experience of feeding the giraffes. Couldn’t fault the facilities and the dedication of the staff was incredible and you could tell they loved their jobs. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable”
