1 / 3Williams Lions Park
đ Williams, WA
The ideal leg-stretch on the drive between Perth and the South Coast, with three playground areas, a flying fox, clean toilets and quirky metal sculptures to keep everyone happy.
Great park, with three separate areas playground areas, a toilet and barbeque facilities. Great place to stop on the highway. Toilets are clean and well maintained and there is a water fountain, dog water area and nice sculptures. The flying fox is a highlight for the kids! Plenty of parking too with a fast electric charging station next door
đ Family Action Verdict
If you're driving between Perth and the South Coast, this is a genuinely lovely place to pull over, stretch the legs and let the kids burn off energy on the playground and flying fox. There's tree cover, seating, BBQs and clean toilets, plus quirky metal sculptures (the numbat and a tool-made eagle) that keep adults entertained too.

âStopped in Williams on my roadtrip back to Perth when I came across this beautiful park and playground for kids. I love metal sculptures and was delighted to find these beauties and the numbat sculpture at Williams Lion Park. Would've stayed for longer if I had more time. A really lovely place for adults to chill out and kids to play. :).â

âA beautiful park, playground, picnic area in Williams, adjacent to the sports ground Well maintained, clean, toilet block. A great place for a stop & a break on a trip between Perth and the South Coast regions (and on the return as well).â

Overview
The kind of highway stop you actually look forward to: three separate playground areas plus a flying fox to burn off the backseat energy, loads of tree cover and seating, BBQs and toilets that are genuinely clean and well maintained. The metal sculptures are the stealth highlight - a big numbat and an eagle made from old tools keep the adults wandering around while the kids run riot. More parking than you'll ever need.
