One local site calls it a family favourite the kids keep asking to return to. The trade-off is that the same source notes there are no toilets on site, so plan accordingly. A gazebo can be booked for group BBQs, and The Court Coffee Bar is a five minute drive away with its own kids' play area.

Beatrix Playground is the smaller, quieter option. Reviewers say a recent renovation has left the equipment modern and well maintained, and the layout lets siblings of different ages play at the same time while parents talk. It suits a relaxed local visit paired with a nearby café rather than a full day of packed activities.
