1 / 3Bill McGrath Reserve
đ Kensington, WA
A well-kept local park in Kensington that's good for combining playtime with a BBQ or picnic, with plenty of shade and two hoops for older kids.
I have been going to this park since before I was born, and have never run out of anything to do. (I found a snake in the slide as you can see in the photo.)
đ Family Action Verdict
This is a solid neighbourhood park for a relaxed outing, especially if you want to combine playtime with a BBQ or picnic and let older kids shoot hoops on the basketball or netball ring.

Overview
A relaxed neighbourhood spot with good shade and a BBQ setup, so you can fire up lunch while the kids work through the swings and slides. There are two hoops for older ones to shoot around on, and the play equipment is a touch dated but does the job. Street parking only, so factor that in on a busy day.
