1 / 3McCallum Park
π Victoria Park, WA
A riverside spot for scooting, cycling and running off energy, with a genuinely lovely Perth skyline backdrop. The BBQ and picnic spots fill fast, so arrive early or bring a rug.
We went to the McCallum Park Perth Garden Show last weekend & it was fantasticπͺ΄πGreat variety of plants pots, knowledge & all sorts of other things. Great speakers there too. Just wish there was more seating throughout the whole show, & especially where the presenters were speaking. A feast for the eyes
π Family Action Verdict
This is a solid pick if your kids like open space to scoot, cycle or run around, and you want a riverside stroll with a genuinely lovely city skyline backdrop. Just know the BBQ and picnic spots fill up fast, so it suits families happy to arrive early or bring a picnic rug rather than count on a table.

βVery good place for jogging, cycling and the kids park is good. Had an evening walk on the river side walking track. My son enjoyed riding his scooter. The night city view is spectacular from McCallum park. It is a good place for night city view photography.β

βGreat place to take the dog and family too. Lots of space and beautiful views of the city. Would love to see more picnic tables added to the BBQ areas. As you must go early to secure one or you are sitting on the grass.β

βA great park to visit! It is located near Swan River. There is a basketball court in the area. There are also jogging tracks and paths for bicycles.β

Overview
The pull here is the river and that Perth skyline, which looks especially good lit up of an evening. There's open space for the kids to scoot, cycle or just run, and a walking track that doubles for jogging or a stroll with the dog. The catch is seating: the BBQ and picnic tables get claimed early, so families tend to pack a rug rather than count on scoring a spot.
