Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park

“This is a wildlife experience and well worth it. No exotic animals - all Australian animals, birds and snakes and so well cared for. It’s not a lot of walking but allow 2-3 hrs. So much to see. The wombats are so cute, and sleepy koalas , dingos, emus and all animals are within close proximity, so it feels very intimate. Plenty of shade (went there on a 42 degree day - it was fine). It’s mostly flat walking throughout and totally comfortable. Excellent addition of hand wash stations positioned all over the park. There is the opportunity to feed animals, with food cups and plenty of parking, onsite and directly across the road in an overflow parking lot. Opportunities to get a photo with a koala at a very good price (half of cost of other koala parks). Cute little cafe for lunch, which has gluten free options available. Well kept and worth visiting.”

“A great half day out from Sydney. Really easy to navigate - worth getting Citymapper if you don’t already have it to help with the bus/train times. Get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most iconic animals. You can buy feed at the ticket desk and feed the certain animals around the park! Top tip, you can feed multiple animals so don’t feel you need to use it all with the pademelons at the start! There are quokkas who would enjoy it too a bit further around. Highly recommend. You can get your picture with and stroke their koalas for a small fee, highly recommend doing that. We also booked online when we were on our way there and used a discount code for 10% off. Definitely worth doing. We went on a Wednesday and got there around 12 and were finished up around 2, so very easy to fit into half a day.”

“I had a wonderful experience here, you can buy Kangaroo food for 5$ at the ticket office and feed the kangaroos. I also booked the Koala experience and it was amazing. I was able to pet the Koala and get my picture taken by their photographer. You receive your picture instantly in addition to a digital download. If you also want to take an additional photo with your own phone you can give them your phone and the will take a few photos for you during your Koala encounter. I very highly recommend visiting this park if you're near Sydney. Many other animal encounters like the Quoka encounter were fully booked for weeks so it's recommended to book early.”
