There are also open areas for kicking a soccer ball and walking the trails. The park is well-maintained, with workmen regularly checking on the facilities, including BBQ pits and picnic tables. The toilets are clean—a definite plus! While it’s a bit out of the way (about 40 minutes from the city by bus), it’s absolutely worth the trip. “A little out of the way. 40 minutes out from the city (by bus) Worth the time to travel there. Large playground, lots of shade for a picnic. Very well maintained! The table tops are still garnished and we saw workmen checking on the play equipment, bbq pits and improving the tables during our visit! Toilets are clean, a real plus!”
