“An Amazing zoo! We got ferry tickets at the pier and bought zoo tickets at the door – no queues. There are shows at 12:00, 14:00, and 15:00 - worth watching! Zookeepers are incredible - so caring and loving towards animals! The most disturbing part of the zoo was its visitors. Parents should teach their kids to behave. If that's not feasible, then at least look after their children. There were plenty of kids chasing a peacock and grabbing its beautiful feathers; the poor bird had nowhere to hide. Another incident happened at the aviary. A man took ages to walk out and kept the door open. That let one of the birds fly out, and it got stuck in the corridor between the doors. While we refused to open the other door before helping the bird back, he got annoyed, refused to help, and complained that it was taking us too long. The poor little one got hurt and couldn’t fly. I hope everyone who visits that zoo has enough decency and compassion for all the beautiful creatures there!”
